What is important to me?
Our lack of affordability is affecting too many from longtime Bellevue neighbors trying to stay in their homes to young families hoping to start their lives here. On the Council, I will prioritize investments in affordable housing, including the ‘missing middle’, encourage private-public partnerships, and support Bellevue smart city initiative.
As our city and region continue to grow, we must find innovative ways to move people safely and efficiently. Working with regional partners, I will support transit options that connect neighbors to light rail and transit centers, as well as innovation in traffic signals to keep cars moving, and improve the safety of sidewalks and streets.
PROMOTE COMMUNITY & CONNECTIONS
On the Bellevue Diversity Advisory Board, I help our city leadership build trust across communities, seek out and value input from neighbors, and embrace diverse perspectives. As your Councilmember, I will prioritize stronger connections between City Hall and neighborhoods and renew our commitment to our diversity as our strength.
PRESERVE OUR QUALITY OF LIFE
As a mom, I want to ensure Bellevue remains the best place to live. To me that means protecting the parks and natural areas that brought many of us here, investing in safe and healthy neighborhoods, and providing support for our neighbors in need.
